On a beautiful piece of waterfront property overlooking the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains, the clients envisioned a home that would remind them of their deep affection for the wine country of Italy. This large residence is the result of many fun meetings with the clients going over every detail of the home and reminiscing about many trips to Italy. During the design process, Jim Castanes, went back to the Venice region to photograph many Italian villas along the Brenta River. This waterfront home is the gathering place for many influential business meetings as well as many informal parties for this fun loving couple and family.
